The iconic Ganga ghats of Kanpur and a major attraction for one and all. As residents of the city, it is our duty to keep these ghats clean which are otherwise buried in heaps of garbage. By making small changes in our daily lifestyle and urging people near us to do so, we can make a big impact.
This Sunday, on October 13, join the Kanpur Ploggers Foundation, travel content creator, Tanya Khanijow and Prezerve India for a mega cleaning drive on the ghats of Ganga river.
Prezerve India is a waterless, plastic-free, effective personal care brand which is dedicated to preventing 1 million plastic bottles from polluting our oceans, rivers and landfills by 2025.
Together with Kanpur Ploggers Foundation and creator Tanya Khanijow, the celebrated travel creator who takes part in cleanliness drives often and uses her humongous social media following to make people aware about sustainability, Prezerve India is organizing this major Ganga cleaning drive this Sunday and there's no reason why you shouldn't join them.
The Kanpur Ploggers Foundation is founded by Dr. Sanjivini Sharma, a dentist by profession and environmentalist by passion. Together with her team and hundreds of volunteers, she has been cleaning the river Ghats of Kanpur every Sunday since March 2021.
The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) started in 2021 for a cleaner and sustainable lifestyle and since then, with their hard work and dedication, they have managed to promote sustainable lifestyle practices to a large extent.
This Sunday will mark their 177th plogging drive week. So, join them because together, we can make a big difference in solving the current environment changes for a sustainable future.
