To strengthen the ecosystem for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the technology sector, Union Bank of India signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Startup Innovation and Incubation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur.

On January 24, they put their signatures on the memo. The driving forces behind the formalisation of this innovative collaboration were Professor Ankush Sharma, Director (Ex-Officio) of SIIC IIT Kanpur, and Mr. Sumit Srivastava, Zonal Manager-Lucknow (Union Bank of India). This agreement strengthens the partnership between the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur ecosystem and entrepreneurs by highlighting a shared commitment to innovation and assistance.

The incubation centre, which has been running for over ten years and is supported by IIT Kanpur, has seen numerous success stories. The centre is proud to have a thriving ecosystem with investors, government funding agencies, renowned alumni as mentors, and deep tech experience.
